Students can determine the conditions that lead to the social and economic change and development as well as the cause for social and economic inequality around the world.

    How to pass this course:

    1. Start from Introduction -part. Get to know the concept of sustainability. After you have finished the assignments, you are able to start part 2. Resource scarcity and inequality. These two parts prepare you to do the part 3 Sustainable economy and part 4 Sustainable society.

Parts 3 and 4 are related to the country you are participating the student challenge in. So if possible, do not do those assignments until you know, where you are going to go. (it is allowed to do the assignment about some country you are interested in, but if you would choose the country you are about to visit, it will give you valuable information)

From this course you will gain 5 ECTS, graded from 1-5. The grade is based on part 3 (50 %) and part 4 (50 %). The course assignments are graded starting from last week in each month (except June, July and December)

In all task, you need to document your use of AI tools , if any. Please follow the HAMK guidelines: https://digipedaohjeet.hamk.fi/ohje/artificial-intelligence-user-reminder-list-for-students/?lang=en
