Interview exercise

Discussion forum task:

Interview one immigrant living in Finland and write a report (at least 300 words) on the interview for this forum. Think of a good headline to your report.

Important: Ask your interviewee if you can use their name in the interview, and if not, protect their identity and use a pseudonym (invent a name that you use instead of their real name) or don't use a name at all. Don't describe their life etc in such detail that they could be recognised, if they wish to remain anonymous!

What has been difficult for them, what has been easy?
Do they feel at home in Finland?

Write your own thoughts based on the interview:
What kind of measures best support the integration of different immigrants? 
How does integration affect an immigrant's identity?

Apply and demonstrate in the report the ability to adapt, respect and accept other cultures / cultural circumstances and the ability to develop links between concepts and theories you have learned to real life situations.
