Socially, Somchai noticed that Finnish people are more reserved compared to Thailand, where conversations and friendships come more naturally. He also appreciates Finland’s safety, fair working conditions, and public services.
When asked if he feels at home in Finland, Somchai said he is getting there. He still misses Thailand’s warm weather and lively atmosphere but feels more settled as he improves his language skills and builds stronger connections. His experience highlights the challenges and rewards of integrating into a new culture.
