    Ideation is the phase of a DBE project that aims to generate as many different ideas as possible, from which student teams can build their final solution. Ideation is based on the information generated during the data collection and processing phases.

    • The Round Robin technique is a brainstorming technique in which participants take turns to present ideas, either in writing or aloud, based on each other's suggestions. It promotes creativity and collaboration and ensures that everyone's views are heard.

    • Crazy Eight is a quick brainstorming technique where you quickly come up with 8 different ideas to solve a problem. The aim is to stimulate creativity and generate different ideas quickly, helping to break away from traditional ways of thinking.
